Art Journals Are Not For Sissies!

I thought creating an Art Journal would be just fun putting medium on top of medium.  If you are just journaling a class or techniques I would suppose that is easier ... FYI: for me it wasn't.

For me, using words is so much easier to journal, documenting a journey in my life than trying to put down the experiences of your day or your thoughts onto paper in the form of symbols, a few words, and colors, and more.

Here is the the great part ... you think and you feel and the results reflect your "inside thoughts" that maybe are to hard to put out there to read or to be read.

I know I'm being too philosophical on a Friday.  LOL  Here are my two first attempts of an Art Journal that are documenting me.

Creative Jumpstart Summit 2013 by Nathalie Kalbach is officially over.  It really gave me some new EXPERIENCES (OLW 2013) in art.  I totally enjoyed myself and hope to continue to use my new experiences in my own paper art and scrapbooking.

Layout coming in my next post!

Personal note:  over the next two weeks I might not post as I usually do (this week included).  I have a new adventure I'm getting started into and need a bit of adjustment time.  BUT I will have a GIVEAWAY on MONDAY
