Surprise! Debby's Dare Demos

Debby’s Dare Demo! That’s right, it's Tuesday and I’m ahead of myself! LOL

I’m working on getting my pages I’ve created into albums before 2010. I usually run into two problems when I start putting my pages in my book.

First, my pages are pretty thick or bulky. I do not want these pages creating creases or indents into the neighboring page. I use spacers between my pages. None of the albums I’ve ever purchased come with enough spacers. I dislike cutting and making spacers out of cardboard. It is too messy, too thin, and never enough around.

Second, I’ll post  tomorrow!!

52 Weeks of Homemade Families

Starting January 4th and every Monday afterwards I will be posting a starting prompt for a double page layout. I’m recommending your pages be 8 x 8.

Our focus is to have fun documenting what seems to be a majority of our time with our family.

“I’ve got to get home to start dinner.”

“Where ya want to eat tonight?”

“Have you seen Aunt Suze’s recipe for pumpkin pie? I’m suppose to bring it for Christmas dinner.”

“I put something extra in your lunchbox today.”

Our lives revolve around meals or food. Three times a day you eat, special occasion are most always surrounded by food, family reunions, vacations, weddings, camping, picnics, anniversaries, birthdays, well, just everything.

For 52 Weeks we will be creating
~One page of our family/friends as it pertains to food and
~One companion page with your recipe.

There are a lot more details and ….giveaways in connection to the whole Dare Ya! event this coming year. To Register send me an email at DebbysDare@gmail.com. Include your online name you will be posting with and you real name. Include any questions or suggestions you might have. I do have one big question that I want to answer in tomorrow’s post. So get those questions in today and I’ll address all that I can tomorrow.

Debby’s Dream Studio is having a great end of the year sale. Pick up your paper Foundations and add-ons. You chose your coupon…15% off everything or free shipping. A funny: an online store offered free shipping and I went and purchased the heavy stuff that I usually can’t afford to buy online because of shipping. LOL It should be here today or tomorrow!!!!! 3. I just started following your blog and I love your Demo. To be completely honest I never used the spacers before. This looks so simple and will help preserve my pages even more. Definitely going to try it out. Thanks!

  4. Debby, thank you for the demo on spacers. I never knew that buttons and brads could make marks on another page or that storing your albums a certain way would be better for your pages. Thanks again for all the great tips.
