Easter is fast approaching. All the holidays this year have been sneaking up on me. I'm working towards getting ahead of all I'm doing for Easter so it doesn't sneak up on me this round. For another Easter project check out this Glue Dots® Adhesives Design Team post.
Easter Purse
Easter was always a time that my mom bought me a new outfit. From dress, tights, shoes, gloves, hat, and a purse. I made this Easter Purse gift box for my granddaughter’s Easter basket.
Glue Dots® Adhesives used in this project:
Mini – Roller Applicator
Micro
Craft
Print template on the back of your paper.
(Great Free Templates At Mother Earth Crafts)
Cut on the solid lines
Score on the dotted lines
Before folding the box together I sewed on a mini-frame from Graphic 45's Once Upon a Springtime. Leave the top open to slide in a photo or other décor.

Before folding the box together I sewed on a mini-frame from Graphic 45's Once Upon a Springtime. Leave the top open to slide in a photo or other décor.
Fold the box. Roll on Mini Glue Dots® Adhesives to the back of the front and back flap of the purse. Bring the flaps upward adhering the flaps to the inner box as you go.
Add a Micro Glue Dots® Adhesives to the small pearl on the tag. Roll on Mini Glue Dots® Adhesives on the back of the tag and adhere it to the purse.
Punch a 1.5” circle. I used Fiskars Seal-of-Approval Squeeze Punch. Adhere with Glue Dots® Adhesives Mini then add the peal latch with Craft Glue Dots® Adhesives.
Punch out a 6-inch strip of paper using your favorite border punch. I used Martha Stewart’s Eyelet Lace Deep Edge Punch and folded it in half. Adhere it to the inside of the purse on top of the box using Glue Dots® Adhesives Mini.
Fill with a special gift to celebrate the season of love.

Spring means everything is alive, and the idea of cleaning is WAY more inspiring than the actual DOING. LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower, love your blog!
ReplyDeleteHow fun is that purse!! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love Spring for the colors, the chirping birds and the tender little shoots on trees :) I don't have any Copics, so I would love to win of course!!!
ReplyDeleteWow!!!!! I can't believe I am finally going to own some copics!!! Thank you so much Debby!!!:)
ReplyDeleteThat is a cute purse.my nieces would love it for their dolls.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Viji :D what a wonderful prize!
ReplyDeleteDebby, one of my favorite Easter memories is getting a new dress, white gloves and a Easter bonnet to wear when going to Sunday church service.
I am a follower!!!
ReplyDeleteFirst...Hurray, hurray to Viji! Way to go! I love it that a Fiskateer won!
ReplyDeleteOh, I have so many fun Easter memories, as a child and as an adult, it makes it hard to pick. My MIL loved to make Easter a big occassion. After lunch we would have a big egg hunt and anyone could play. As the kids got older, I would join in to give them some competition. The year I found the golden egg stands out in my mind.
Thank you for the this third chance to win some Copics!
When I think of spring, I think of no heavy winter coats or boots an NO SNOW! We still have snow and have to wear our winter gear!
ReplyDeleteI shared on Fiskateers message board and my Facebook page!
ReplyDeleteThat's a cute purse Debby ! But I love, love, love the doll ! I have quite a few prim Annie dolls..they warm my heart !
ReplyDeleteAs a child I always got the new dress, big hat, socks, gloves , shoes..the whole works ! Did it with my kids for a while but they got to where they didn't like it, so never forced them .
We now host Easter dinner here for my husbands family. We have somewhere around 30 or more guests. Each year is grows as the kids get older and start bringing dates ! Or spouses! LOL
But I LOVE having them here!
Debby, that purse is adorable...thanks for sharing it and the template.
ReplyDeleteMy absolute favorite easter moment happened 17 years ago and nothing can top it. Once my children were able to understand the concept of baptism, I allowed them to choose the date of their baptism. Both of them chose to be baptised on Easter sunday 1994. Getting them to agree to anything is a feat in itself, but this was the one and only time that I can remember that neither of them even thought twice..no argument, no nit picking...nothing...just an excited squeal when they talked with the pastor and he agreed that Easter Sunday would certainly be a very blessed day for a baptism
Brunch with the Easter Bunny each year with my niece
ReplyDeleteCongrats Viji. Come spring time I love the wonderful Warm weather. I can't wait to get outside with my kids on those warm days. And they're coming closer too...WooHoo its about time.

Easter...wow..what memories do I have from that...it brings back those wonderful memories of going to my parents country home and gathering all the nieces and nephews up for a huge egg hunt. The older the child, the harder they were hid. It would last for hours and was so much fun! Now they are all nearly grown to adults..will have to wait til they have kids to do it all over again!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite Easter moment was when my Dad hid my basket in the dryer, which is in the garage. I literally looked for it for an hour until he would give me a hint. I will always remember that!
ReplyDeleteAlready a follower, thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeletePosted a link to your blog on Facebook, thanks again Debby!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite easter moment was when we lived in Europe. We took our small son to a local park and i played with my son while my dh "hid" the colored eggs. After 5 minutes, I joined my husband with our son and noticed there were quite a few locals wondering what he was doing. Whereas they celebrate Easter, I guess hunting eggs was not a tradition. They all oohed and ahhed and took pictures as our son filled his basket up with goodies... I will never forget their astonished looks, haha...Already a follower of your fabulous blog but will post the link on my facebook...thanks for the chance to win...
ReplyDeleteMy favorite spring moment is when I see the first perenials growing in my garden...and warmer days..thanks for being so generous
