Take Three on my interpretation of Little Yellow Bicycle's Jan/Feb sketch challenge. I've had such a fun time working this sketch. I'm not a sketch fan, but if it has dimension like this I love them.
This is where you can find Take One and Take Two. The sketch is posted under Take One or you can see it at Little Yellow Bicycle along with more inspiration.
This is our "Santa Puppy." LOL Lilly is Adam and Vanessa's puppy and was her first Christmas with us. Santa had to make his annual appearance and it came in the form of little Lilly. The middle photo just makes you go "ahhhhh."
The paper collection and snowflakes are Bo Bunny's Snowfall. As far as my older stash it would probably be the rick rack and the Thickers, but they are not "old, old." So no real using of the old stash on this one.
Giveaway
By way of ushering in this year's series of wonderful giveaways from some of your favorite manufactures I'm kicking it off with a challenge and giveaway for the month of February. Next month ... Hint: I can't get enough of ......
The challenge: using a sketch create a layout. That seems easy. Create your layout and come back here and link your layout with inlinkz. You must post your photo on your blog or other online gallery to do this. If you are having problems email me at dspaperstudio@aol.com.
The giveaway is a brand new, from CHA Winter, Fiskars Jenni Bowlin Limited Edition Scalloped Banner Squeeze Punch! I didn't know if I could get a hold of one, but never under estimate the power of a scrapper! The challenge is open to USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand. (These countries I have shipped to before with great success and reasonable postage costs. I'm sorry I'm still testing the water with other countries.)
I'll announce a winner on March 2. Good luck and I'm looking forward to seeing all your creations.
Gratitude List1. strength
2. joy in my heart and a smile Little Honey puts on my face
3. my oldest son, William...Happy Birthday!
4. supportive family and friends
5. dependance on God more each moment

ReplyDeleteGot all linked up today. I love sketches and have been exploring new sights to find some too. LOVE the letters in LH's room--those turned out fantastic. The yarn balls in the corner are cool too...on Pinterest I saw some made with crocheted doilies in the same way (I'd like to try those). Thanks for the giveaway--my JoAnns has some of the punches, but not that one.
