Of all the pages in my altered record album-album this is my favorite. The challenge from Jean Marmo had to do with Modge Podge, tissue, and stamping. I tried to incorporate all three in my altered page.
Ingredients: tissue paper, watercolor pencils, white acrylic paint, Tattered Angel's Glimmer Mist, Modge Podge, WeRMemory Keepers twine, Fiskars/Jenni Bowlin Banner Squeeze Punch, Stampers Anonymous/Tim Holtz music stamp, Ranger Archival Ink, Magic Mesh, Saukra gel pen, Ranger Dabber Red Pepper, Tim Holtz letters, White Enamel from Ranger, Antique Linen Distress Ink
I used my Magic Mesh as a stencil and added the white paint to the mesh to add a bit to the background that I did ink with Antique Linen Distress Ink. I cut out a hot air balloon from a sturdy piece of white cardstock then used Bo Bunny's Serenity paper to layer several design/colors. I covered it with tissue in small pieces and covered it with Modge Podge. After it dried I stamped the the balloon and added my banner. I did add a pounce of Ranger's Red Pepper Dabber acrylic paint.
I drew my rainbow onto the record sleeve and colored it with my watercolor pencils then adhered my hot air balloon to the page.
The clouds are a take on the tissue covering technique. I cut clouds from pages from a book, covered in tissue, spritzed with Tattered Angel's glimmer mist, pounced with white paint, doodled around the edges and added just a hint of white enamel from Ranger.

Title is from Tim Holtz ransom letters with a bit of white paint.
Again, I love the photo of my granddaughter as it seems perfect for this page with the clouds.
