I have another layout to share that I used one of the technquies that Nathalie Kalbach's lesson on stamps, paint, and stencils. If you haven't noticed ... like me ... stenciling is the rage right now. Watching the CHA Winter releases (CHA ... craft and hobby association trade show...the fashion runway of crafting) there are a lot of stencils coming out.
This is my Aunt Evelyn and her two oldest boys in 1957.
The fun of this page is the main part of the paper ... the lower design. It was made with a Fiskars background stamp, acrylic paint, Prima stencil/mask, and more paint. The fun was that I prepped and load the stamp with paint and stamped 6 times without reloading it with paint. Cool, huh? After the paint dried I added Perfect Pearls spray. The tutorial/lesson is at the online event Creative JumpStart Summit 2013.
They layout was inspired by one I saw on Facebook. The top is Bo Bunny paper and cutout of one of Bo Bunny's butterflies with Diamond Dust. The ribbon is from May Arts that I won with my Christmas ornament.
The collage is from Ki Memories softies, Tim Holtz letters (strong), Cloud 9 black leafing, "courage" Webster's Pages, LIVE unknown, "to" Dymo Label Maker, butterfly is cut using Fiskars template and Bo Bunny paper.
The Summit is free, loads of talented teachers, and lots of giveaways. Just thought I'd let you know.
I love scrapbooking ART!
Have a Crafty Art Day!
