I've been away for a long time and much has happened in the last 10 months. I've been away very sick and even needed to resign my postion at USC. Angie wants me to update, so this is my attempt without getting overwhelming.
Part of my illness demands I lose weight and get back into shape. Since the end of January I've lost more than 60 pounds offically. That makes me excited!
Since I'm no longer at a professional job I enjoy my granddaughters very much. I think Easter was the most fun. My 3 year old GD kept asking me to take a picture when she found an egg.

I also went to Washington DC and New York. Washington was good, but I spent 3.5 hours in the Holcost museum. It was sad and caused me to be angry. But this journey was important for both me and my son. I highly reccommed going there if you are in the DC area.
Now New York is a different story. We saw the Lion King and it was wonderful. This is my son with Mufasa. We also went to Stomp. This is my son with one of the cast members of that great group. We did the regular touristy things in New York. We were on the Today Show! But my son and his friend had a different idea of what the hightlights of New York were. We went to the Apple Computer super store, FAO Swartz, and the Super Nintendo Store. Good grief Charlie Brown!
Scrapping was hard when I was sick. I've really started scrapping again this past month or so. I do need to update my gallery. I've enjoyed making my way back to a few friends in the scrapping business and hope as I get stronger that I'll spend a little more time here and on PEAS as well as start my publication jouney once again.

I went to 3 family reunions this past weekend in Florida! Whew, tempation was hard with all that country cooking! But it was great to be with family again.
To tell everything would take a much longer post. Hopefully, I'll be more mindful and keep up with my blog and gallery and that will let you know what I'm doing and have been doing!
