30 Years and Many More

October 14th was mine and Jimmy's wedding anniversary. We celebrated by going up to the mountains of Tennessee. Pigeon Forge is our favorite place. We always find something new to get into. This year Jim asked if he could go to the Comedy Barn for his anniversary gift. I'm not a real Heehaw girl, but for him anything. My gift was spending time, unhurried, at the scrapbook stores. We spent time at the Craftsman Fair in Gatlinberg as well as walking around. Every minute of our time together without children, mothers, or reality at all was refreshing to both of us.

Enjoy our picture journey:

Take the picture already!

Yes, Deborah there is a Santa Claus

Any pillow when tired.

We hated leaving the mountains.

I can't wait to scrap them all, all 139 pictures.

I have so many other things to catch up on but for now I end with my gratitude list.

I'm Grateful for...
...a safe trip
...each other, our love, our struggles that made us one
...God's ability to teach us in unexpected ways
...answered prayer
...and a daughter whom I love deeply and that I'm so very proud of!

What's on your gratitude list today?
