A Pile of Pretty Projects

I've been a busy beaver these past few days. I completed a layout for a Making Memories Challenge @ Scrapbook.com. I finished my class project that I'm teaching in July. I did a little wooden clipboard just for fun! So lots of pretty projects and all very different from one another.

I also finished making my "coat" hooks. Really it is a board my husband cut and sanded for me. I stained it. Then I used Heidi Swapp's form flourish stamps and Ranger's Paint Dabbers to create a design on the wood. I outlined the design with a thin line of brown paint. I added pink porcelain knobs. Useing my Fiskars craft drill I drilled holes for the screws to put the knobs in and the holes for the screw to go in the wall. I'll be showing pictures and video very soon of all my reorganization. Now I have something pretty to hang my aprons and a few other odds and ends onto.

To be honest cleaning and organizing my scrap space is hard, hard, and even more hard. The great thing about it is that I'm finding things I've forgotten about and used them. I now know where everything is located. I'm also selling several of my scrapbooking things that (1) I've replaced with something Fiskars or (2) I should have never purchased in the first place! Pages are being put in books (thanks Ali Edwards for the inspiration). I've even been able to hang up a few things that are inspirational to me. Cool. I'm really liking my Creative Dreams Studio!

I'm teaching a heritage class tomorrow using one of my favorite paper lines...Chatterbox. I actually made this layout several years ago. It was published by Scrapbooking.com earlier this year and the LSS owner saw it and asked me to teach on their heritage day. Full house and I'm looking forward to the fun of it all! I so love the teach.

Here are my projects:

Gratitude List:
1. Strength
2. Sanity
3. Good Friends I can talk to all the time.
4. Church family
5. For God's provision for my every physical need.
