My mother and daughter (dangerous combination) took me yesterday to get my hair done. Right, when they said hair done I figured a nice cut. Nope. Dye, Highlights, and a brand new cut. Holy Cow, I still trying to get use to the change. I like it a lot, but man is it a change for me.
They also took me shopping for a new outfit to wear while I'm training in Florida for Fiskars. I'm a babe now. LOL LOL LOL

Here's the Dare. I DARE you to create something PINK. Anything Pink...layout, quilt, card, altered item, home decor, jewelry, crowns...anything. Then load it to the slide show above. If you can't load it email it to me at DeborahL591@yahoo.com and I'll post it to the slide show for you. Make sure you post a comment that you loaded a project. Make sure to check back next Friday for the winner.
Other exciting news: Before I go to Florida I will be posting the greatest of all challenges and a wonderful surprise RAK. You are not going to believe it. It is over the top wonderful.
Coming to Debby's Dare and Creative Dreams Studio.....Stories by Everyone, sponsored by Scrapbook Etc. Come here for a preview of the books you can make with your photos and your journaling. It is a beautifully quick way to get those birthday, CHRISTMAS, baby gifts. I've already purchased my first one and I'm excited about the quality. I placed my order and within one week in was in my hands. I will have a link and a code where you can create your book. The most expensive book is $34.95 for the hardback.
This is my book that I created of my mothers trip to Charleston. Actually, it's going to be her Christmas present. We uploaded her photos and she did the journaling. My mother is scared of a computer, but she made her memory book with ease. I'm hoping everything will be up and running by September 15th!
Toot Toot! One of my canvases is going to be featured on Scrapbook Retailers Website and included in their newsletter. I'm very, overwhelmingly excited! I'll let you know when it comes out.
I also just got a call from unKit telling me that my Scrap Pink canvas is featured on unKit's site.
Isn't God wonderful in His blessings?
Gratitude List:
1. Mom and my relationship and how it has grown over the last 5 weeks.
2. Friends: Ruth, Sudie, Bob....people who care.
3. Opportunities to grow and stretch as a person and artist
4. God's safety for me and mom as we have a tendency to talk too much and not watch the road while driving enough.
5. Forgiveness. God's unfailing desire to forgive and his enabling us to forgive.

ReplyDeleteI am really late commenting on this. I just had to post, though, and tell you how much I like your hair! I would love to get some curl in my hair, but the last two times I tried a perm, my hair tangled and frizzed like a matted poodle. I've been told that my "baby fine" hair strands do not like permanent chemicals ... especially since I already lighted my hair to blend with all my gray.
