I haven't posted for a bit. I've been busy, but mostly I've been trying to find time to relax and regenerate. I had a beautiful day yesterday doing just that. Mom went home yesterday. She plans on being back around the 20th. She needed to take care of everyday household business. Mom's been a hoot to have around, although I only have a few weeks to drop the weight before she comes back to cook again. Yikes!!!
So on with what is going on in the SCRAPPY WORLD I live in and Debby's Dare.

I want to share with you some layouts I did with my unKits.

Studio 490, Wendy Vecchi and Breast Cancer Awareness Challenge
I participated in three Wendy Vecchi, Studio 490, classes a week ago. I wanted to share one of the projects I did. It is so awesome. Wendy's first class was the basics of distressing ink and many techniques. The second class we used our distressing inks, grungeboard and Maya Road to create a beautiful Christmas hanging piece. Lastly, Wendy handed us all the supplies for a fragment journal, showed us a few techniques and then allowed (better yet told us) to create our own Fragment Journal. If you get the opportunity to go to her classes, take them all! If you live in the South Carolina area she will be at the Scrapbooking and Stamping Station (Columbia) in March! I'm doing the happy dance. I've already signed up. Deadline for participating in the Susan G. Koman Challenge is this Friday. Go to this POST to see the details. I will be announcing the winner of the Wendy Vecchi art canvas (it is even more beautiful in person) sometime on Friday. Actually, everyone who gives either through the link on the the challenge post, or gave through other means to the cause of eradicating breast cancer can post with their story to enter this challenge.
Creative Dreams Studio
I've began a newsletter that goes out to the people in the greater South Carolina area. The newsletter contains opportunities to crop, take classes, and learn a few new techniques. If you would like to sign up for my newsletter and you are in the South Carolina area email me at CreativeDreamsStudio@gmail.com and I will be happy to add you to my list.
Oh, Scrap
Oh, Scrap's October issue is out. You do not need to have a subscription to be able to download with great online magazine. So many techniques and inspiration. Plus I am not writing product reviews for Oh, Scrap. Also Oh, Scrap is accepting submissions on an ongoing bases.
