I'm getting a little better at the video thing. Debbie Buckland says practice makes perfect. I'm a long way, but it's better than the first one. LOL

1. I was in love with Donny Osmond as a teenager! Posters, records (you know the black round things that plays on a contraption that goes around and the needle is placed in a groove and music comes out. LOL); every show. I loved Donny. He's not bad now! **wink wink**
2. I wore bell bottom pants and either baby doll shirts or those little shirts with the butterfly sleeves. I loved to embroidery my jeans. I was very cool! In public high school I was not allowed to wear pants until my senior year of High School. Dresses were mandatory for girls. LOL
3. I get lost easy when I drive, but I never panic. I figure it is just another adventure. Sudie and Shere had to get on the phone with me several times to get me around Mt. Pleasant and Charleston. LOL
4. I totally love to dance, but growing up in the 70s ruined me to be able to dance hardly anything without just standing there and shuffling. I can do a little disco and funky chicken. LOL My mom and dad taught me the twist, the swim, the jerk...memories.
5. I live in the south, but I do not like, at all, boiled okra. Sorry folks this is just too slimy for me. On the other hand I LOVE LOVE LOVE shrimp and grits.
6. My favorite song in the whole whole is "It is Well with my Soul." Here is the inspirational story behind the song.
This hymn was written after two major traumas in Spafford’s life. The first was the great Chicago Fire of October 1871, which ruined him financially. Shortly after, while crossing the Atlantic, all four of Spafford’s daughters died in a collision with another ship. Spafford’s wife Anna survived and sent him the now famous telegram, “Saved alone.” Several weeks later, as Spafford’s own ship passed near the spot where his daughters died, the Holy Spirit inspired these words. They speak to the eternal hope that all believers have, no matter what pain and grief befall them on earth.
When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.
Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come,
Let this blest assurance control,
That Christ has regarded my helpless estate,
And hath shed His own blood for my soul.
My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought!
My sin, not in part but the whole,
Is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more,
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul!
For me, be it Christ, be it Christ hence to live:
If Jordan above me shall roll,
No pang shall be mine, for in death as in life
Thou wilt whisper Thy peace to my soul.
But, Lord, ‘tis for Thee, for Thy coming we wait,
The sky, not the grave, is our goal;
Oh trump of the angel! Oh voice of the Lord!
Blessèd hope, blessèd rest of my soul!
And Lord, haste the day when my faith shall be sight,
The clouds be rolled back as a scroll;
The trump shall resound, and the Lord shall descend,
Even so, it is well with my soul.
7. One of my favorite motivers is "It never hurts to ask, "no" never hurt, but not asking might."
