Fiskars Friday Sort of on Thursday

I want to encourage everyone to push forward and complete your first layout for the Dare "All About You in 52." I'm down to only 51 more to go! Hurray. Post your link in this comment section (click on link). I've been fortunate to receive several donations from some great companies for RAKS for the upcoming year and there is room for more. Several people have already posted their link. Whether or not your are participating in the DARE. Check out their cool work and beautiful journaling. (note: I've changed some settings so that you can post and it will show immediately. You do not thave to wait for me to "be home" and others can go to your DARE.)

Wow, it was a day on Thursday. I was not feeling well and every time I began this project I was too ill to sit at the computer. I used several tools to create a layout. I have to watch others do their projects to figure out the short cuts for the time frame. Or I need to use my movie makers which I have several different ones. Learning learning learning!

Fiskars has begun their sneak peek at their paper lines and new tools. Here are a few of my "have to haves" that I've spied. Click on the link to see and read more about the new products being introduced at CHA.

Ribbon Punch Accessory

I'm going hunting for more sneak peeks from other companies. If you want to laugh your head off go to Comos Crickets Blog and watch the series of "Larry the Temp." I'm laughing my head off at the fun Comos Cricket is having.

  5. Debby, I have a "CRAFT QUESTION" for you (and whoever else is reading this comment). My friend Stephanie and I were getting together yesterday to decorate some new clipboards with some nice paper for the new WIC Councel at the church and I went searching for some nice paper that I might have laying around. WELL, I found this BEAUTIFUL wall paper that my parents had bought about 15 years ago at Laura Ashley. It is beautiful- I have LOTS of it. And it worked great for the clipboards. So...now my question is, do you have any other craft ideas that I can use this wall paper for? I was thinking of covering those big letters you can get at craft stores for my daughter's room but you have any other ideas? Just thought you might be the person to ask. If you are reading this post and have some great ideas please come and visit my blog and leave a message for me. I would greatly appreciate any help:) Thanks Debby:) Have a Wonderful weekend.
    In Christ,
    Pauline
