I have enjoyed reading answers to the Questions each week and the beautiful layouts you create. I would encourage you to continue the good journey. Build your album. Commendations to everyone who plays "catch up" and there are several this week. Go back through the All About You in 52 posts and catch the comments.
You would absolutely love to visit each participant's layouts. You will laugh about bananas or cry to read the struggles of others and how they have come out strong.
We've visited our memories of our childhood friends, high school/college friends, now let's visit our adult friends.
I've had so many "adult" best friends. When I lived in Florida it was Linda, Chantay and Theresa. When I lived in Tennessee it was Judy and Carol. Here in South Carolina it has been and is Joanie, Bob, Martha and Ruth. Ruth and I started our relationship as a mentoring one. We met all the time over breakfast, talked, prayed and ate! Over time our relationship turned into being best friends. It's been over 11 years and I can always count on Ruth. I love her much and everything she is inside her heart.
Question 19
Who is/was your best friend as an Adult?
Here is my answer:
Journaling
"There are friends, best friends and soul friends. Ruth is more than a best friend. She knows my heart and my deeds, yet she loves me still. She is a prayer warrior, a woman of great integrity and a person of forgiveness. I can only hope that one day I will understand her ultimate trust in God. We've had State Fair, antiquing and breakfast adventures. We've laugh, cried and prayed. I love her, my friend Ruth."

I was tippy toeing to get this tall!
I have to say Saturday was a blast to see my little boy (LOL) becoming his own person. We attended an awards banquet for ROTC. To see Jacob hanging out with his friends and listening to all the "woo awes" was a blast. My Jacob has become a very responsible young man. Colonel came over and talked with all three of us telling us about this young man he admired. Jacob was very touched, so were his mom and dad. On Mother's Day he signed his card to me "I love you, Cadet Perkins!" I loved it.
Gratitude:1. My son, Jacob
2. My beautiful children on Mother's Day
3. God's blessing with the friends in my life
4. His strength that guides me
5. Being God's well loved child.
Debby, what a handsome young man! I enjoyed reading about your friend Ruth. My best friend you have all heard about before. I lost her in August last year. It has been a hard road without her. I still cry often. As I am now. I have several layouts about Rhonda already done as I'm making an album about her. I will try to get them out and take pix of them and post them on my blog. Thanks for the prod.
