Well, I'm one day behind on my posts. I will be back on track as I have a peaceful weekend at home planned. I might even get ahead!
I was trying to come up with a make-n-take for several events I have in June and July using Fiskars Tools. The one I show on the video is just the base. Everyone will make their own style, but the idea is the same. I made this project to go on one of my son's layouts. It certainly has many more possibilities.
If any of this demonstration of Fiskars Tools helps you, let me know by leaving a comment.
Here is Shannon Smith with a Blog report about the Pre-Crop Grammy Party last Friday.
"The Pre-Crop Grammy night was amazing. A small group of us started out the night with fine dining at Logans Roadhouse, which was the perfect place to eat!
When we got to the party, we were really in for a treat. We started out with a fiska-blinged red carpet, complete with Paparazi and headed into Funky Munkie Scraps for a wonderful time. We were given awesome goodie bags that was really purses (made by Shannon) with fun scrappy products and picture frames that were
Fiskateer orange and green for our runway photos. Thank you Stephanie and Lisa! They were so amazing! There were Fiskars door prizes every 20 minutes and we had some very happy winners!
Stephanie with Funky Munkie Scraps provided all of the door prizes, including the grand prize which was the Fiskars tools starter kit. We had two Copic classes taught by two of the most talented teachers, Katie and Kelly who design for Funky Munkie Scraps. We had a make-n-take by Shannon which was a matchbook memo pad and using our Fiskars tools.
We shopped, mingled, ate and just had an all around wonderful time! It was truly a glamours night. We had a Sudie (Fiskateers Nifity Fifty) and Nan (my great friend) there to help us with make-n-takes and jumped in when they were needed. Stephanie, Lisa and Chris made us all feel right at home. It was so wonderful to meet many fellow Fiskateers and to be able to relax and be pampered.
Thank you so much to everyone that helped!!"
I have more great news, but you will have to wait until Saturday! Ha!

Hey Debbie, I will be in your neck of the woods this weekend. The blog looks great and it is so wonderful to see you doing so much with all that talent you have. Take care and talk to you soon. It would be great to run into to you. I was going to stop by the new store in town tonight around 4ish. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteAnother great video.I love what you did with the CD. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteDebby - Love your video as usual!!! I love the idea of using a CD and one could even make an album out of it. You are a great enabler. I know want a Tim Holtz sander because I just got a bunch of that Coredinations cardstock and LOVE It!!! Thanks for a tip on another use for the stylus. I need a swivel craft knife also as the regular fingertip craft knife doesnt do circles very easy!!
