I'm BACK!

I believe I’m on the upswing of my health! Thank you for the good thoughts and prayers. Please continue that it improves rapidly. I miss being on the internet and most especially on Debby’s Dare.

I played last night with a project I’ve wanted to do for the little bit. I purchased this box on sale at AC Moores. I loved the idea of it. But I’m not really an artsy fruit person.

The pattern was basically there for me to follow so I turned it into a Valentines box with Fancy Pants Valentines paper…awesome stuff. Then I added some Bo Bunny, Cloud9 Rain Dots and a whole lot of Tim Holtz. One thing you can see clearly is that I painted the whole box with crackle paint from Ranger. The crackle is very fine and just finishes the look of the box.

Because it is tall and thin it is becoming part of my organization on my scrap table. I purchased some smooch mist/spritz or what ever it is called and it fit perfectly. FYI: I will eternally be a Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist fan, but it never hurts to try everything out there to see the different looks you can get.

NEWS
Today I’m honored to have one of my projects, One Little Word Journal, featured on Lain Ehmann’s blog "5 Things."  I hope you will check it out and leave a comment there. Thank you.

Create Scrapbooks has a live interactive show today at 1:30 pm. We will have four segments: Amy Coon’s view of CHA; Terri Bradford is starting you on the road to organization; Jana Oliveira with some Valentines projects and I’m going to talk about setting goals as it pertains to Homemade Families. I think you will love it as you can chat, chat and be on air to show your projects. Get there early to test your web cam and mic.

My favourite part of scrapbooking is working with the papers. seeing the oncee simple pictures come alive because of what you did with the layout really makes scrapbooking (all the time, energy and money) totally worth it! :)
