I’m getting ready for Create Scrapbooks Live show February 26, 1:30 EST on Facebook. For those not on Facebook I’ll post my projects here on Debby’s Dare Saturday morning.
I’m warming up by making this fun layout of my grandfather’s extended family when he was a small child. His grandfather and grandmother are in the photo. It’s a shame that I don’t know who is everyone in the photo.
Ingredients
Pattern Paper: Kaiser Crafts NEW Duschess Collection, Dynasty: Sample Bookmarks from Webster’s Pages
Prima Flowers
Stamp: humming bird from Earth Art International, I would strongly urge you to use ; Versa fine Embossing powders with this stamp. The detail was lost a bit with the Ranger’s Fine Embossing powders; Tim Holtz’s Flourish
Title: Maya Road, Jonathan
Tim Holt, metal corners
Antique Button: from Mom
Studio Makeover
Okay, I’ve been promising to show you my studio/scrap space for so long. I’m going to run a series starting the Wednesday on my studio, whys, alternatives, personal inspiration, innovative idea from Ask the masters!
Organizing Your Scrapbook Supplies, from the Memory Makers Masters. I would highly recommend this book not only for great organziational tips but their layouts are incredible. The link is under my badge for Amazon on the right hand side of the blog. You can also get it, I believe at Books a Million and AC Moores. I’m going to be referring to the book quite a bit. If you want the ideas and beautiful layouts inspired by the masters’ craft rooms/space I would love for you to follow along with your own copy.
I’ve been missing from the Internet for the past few days due to …
-->adding more product to Debby’s Dream Studio (Hurray, but it not available yet :{ ). Currently we have a 30% off all Stamps at Debby’s Dream Studio. You will have to play Hide and Seek to find them all!
-->working on my daughter’s wedding. I can hardly wait to show you all that I designed and created for her wedding. She won’t let me share until after the wedding in April.
-->birthday parties (yes, plural) for my son, Jacob’s 17th birthday
-->scrapping (a girls has to create something everyday)
FYI and NOTE
I've finally sent all my RAKS and Prizes out Friday morning. If you don't recieve your's in a reasonable amount of time please contact me. I had so many to send I could have missed one.
Please note there is now a RAK/Prize policy here at Debby's Dare. I would recommend that you give it a good read. The policy is located on the right hand side of the blog. I haven't been adhereing to it, but I must comply in order to maintain a flow with the RAKS/Prizes.
Now that all the RAKS/Prizes have been sent out that is usually a signal that another one will be coming soon.
Gratitude List
1. Steven Douglas improving health
2. my sweet daughter, Ttabitha
3. blessings in my scrapbooking world
4. scrappy friends
5. “Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13
