Debby's Dare Demos, Caddy Remix!

Hi! The rumor of my demise has been great exaggerated. LOL Between a slight health issue and the Scrapbook Yard Sale this Saturday I’ve been off the computer busy.

I was able to get a demo completed. I’ve had people ask me for this demo throughout the two years I first posted it. Two years, different camera, better sound and I decided to do it again.

The demo is the basic caddy. Below are the photos of what I did with the basic caddy. Enjoy, as always if you like the demo, learned anything, have questions etc. leave a comment. I love to know you are out there!

After the demo I took the square pieces off the caddy. I dipped them in beeswax, added texture with a piece of netted material then added a bit of Perfect Pearls. Magic happens with Perfect Pearls and beeswax. Even when the beeswax is dry your Perfect Pearls with stay on. Magic I tell you!

I dipped the Heidi Swapp flower in the wax. As it dried I separated the petals and positioned them the way I wanted them to stand. This was my first time so I think next time I will have a little more movement.

I inked the edges of the caddy with Tim Holtz Distress Ink. Add some cool ribbon you can get at AC Moores. Then topped it off with K & Co. glitter stickers.

The tag I made that I showed on the video is from Stamp Camp. They really are fabulous for all types of stamps. I love the vintage ones best.

Tomorrow is “Scrapbook Yard Sale Day” in Lexington, South Carolina. If you are local I hope to see you there! It starts at 9 am.
