Recovery Is Tough

My house is crying out to be put back in order once again. My body is saying sleep and rest. I guess I'll do one then the other. Which one first is the question!

A wedding is not a wedding without good tears. Tabitha had created a slide show with the two of them growing up. They showed it during the rehearsal dinner. The beautiful part was that she included a voice over of David at the end of his part of the slide show of how he felt about his family and Tabitha did the same. During David's years they sat with the Safdi's and during Tabitha's years they sat with us. I cried through both of them.

Tabitha told me not to make her cry during the day of the wedding. I was ordered to say nothing sappy! So I smiled and watch my daughter get her hair done, I helped her with her dress, smiled as I left her and her dad at the door to go to the location. I cried, but I did not make her cry. Her dad wanted to say something special as they were to walk down the isle but Tabitha told him not to make her cry so he waited until later.

Tabitha finally arrived at the side of her groom. Her dad and gave her away (with strings attached of course!). As she said her vows she lost it and cried. I cried through the whole ceremony. Once David broke the glass and we all cried "Mazel Tov!" we laughed and the celebration begun.

Tabitha and her Brothers

We are of course waiting for photos of the ceremony but everyone seems to have photos of the reception.

Here are some more projects I made for the wedding:

Welcome Bags for all the out of town guests.  I made Tabitha and David's logo into a rub-on and of course Ranger and Tim Holtz was my help for the tag.  The Safdi's put it all together!

Escourt Cards for the Rehearsal Dinner.  Basic Grey, American Craft, Sizzix, and Ranger Embossing Powders.

Escort Cards for the Wedding Reception.  I used Prism, Making Memories, Crop-a-dile, American Craft, Ranger Embossing Powder.  Each bottle had one shell and a personal note to each person from Tabitha and David.  We made close to 200 bottles.

Me and Hobby Lobby.  The mirrors came from Hobby Lobby and used my own home made rub-ons for the words.  I could not have don't it without Fiskars Micro-Tip Scissors.  Rub-on paper is from Graphix.

Thanks and more to come...
