A Little Christmas Please

I can't help it.  It's all around us.  The stores are decorated.  I saw Santa Sunday.  The Hallmark channel is showing the most wonderful Christmas shows.  We are buying Christmas presents.  So I just could not help but start with decorating a bit for Christmas.  Well, maybe more than a little.  LOL

We've put our village on the mantel of the fireplace.

And...Jimmy bought our LIVE Christmas tree!  We have an artificial one's, but this year I really wanted a live tree.  They bring the smell of Christmas in the house.  I haven't decorated it yet, that's tonight.  Jacob, Michelle, Vanessa, Jimmy, and Me will be decorating the tree tonight.  We will put on the Christmas music, have cookies and hot chocolate, and laughter will fill the house.  (note to mom:  no tinsel!)

I really need some creative time, but is has been very busy around the Lewis household.  Between Fall cleaning (closely related to Spring cleaning) and getting ready for the 12 Days of Home for the Holidays right here on Debby's Dare, I've been just a wee bit busy.  One week without scrapping makes for a cranky Debby!  LOL

Only 7 days until the 12 Days of Home for the Holiday.  Are you excited to see who my guests will be?  Me too!  I can hint that there is one who chirps a bit; one who loves orange; and one who loves all things graphic.  More hints on Thursday!!

Gratitude List
1.  energy for this busy week
2.  joy and peace in my heart
3.  my entire family
4.  mom
5.  God's wonderful gift of His Son
