We received a special letter just in time for Christmas.  This is what the back of the envelope looked like:

My son, Jacob has been accepted to the University of South Carolina!  Congrats Jay!  Whoo Hoo!  It is very difficult to get into USC as a Freshman.  Jim and I are very proud of our Jacob, the newest Gamecock!   After a round of celebration Jay said he wanted to take classes with one of USC's football stars, Alson Jeffery!

Gratitude List
1.  good health
2.  laughter with my Jimmy
3.  Jacob
4.  God's goodness in His provision for my family
