Update

I have so much to blog about, but I'll save it for next week.  I wanted to give you an update on my redesigned blog.  I'll let you know the whys and what fors next week.

I've redone the header about a dozen times.  I think I like this one.  I had a professional look over my blog and I made changes yesterday.  I'm still thinking about other ways I can make my blog clean, easy to use, and reflect my new direction for my blog and scrapbooking.

I really wanted to go to typepad but for what I wanted to do the cost was prohibitive.  It's not expense, but with Jay starting school in 9 days it's just not feasible.  I know Blogger better, so here I am.

I'm about to reach 200,000 page views for Debby's Dare/D's Paper Studio.  I want to have a week-long celebration.  Make sure to check in on Monday for fun giveaways.

A Few Stats
I started my blog on April 19, 2006.  New Beginnings.  I started during a time in my life I was very sick.  I wanted to blog about my life in a positive way and talk to other bloggers about scrapbooking.  I can't believe my blog's transformation since then.

I didn't post my first scrapbook layout until May 2006.  I was still trying to figure out how to take pictures and post them.  I'm closing my eyes and posting my first blog layout.  Yikes!

The photos are of my mother during her last year of High School with the exception of the one photo of Dad and Mom was just after they married.  I created this before I had my hands on Dad's photos.

A Fun Element
The circle with the basketball team is actually a record.  For those who do not know about records they are round disks with grooves cut into the vinyl.  When the needle of the record player was placed on the spinning record you would get music.  Sort of a CD.  LOL

This is a photo of the legend Frank Sinatra.  FYI:  I still have a record player and records.

I can't wait until Monday.  Thanks for your patience as my blog undergoes major reconstruction.

Have a Crafty Day!

Gratitude List

3.  God's provision for Jay's school and all that he needed
