2nd Annual Orange Blog Hop: Lovin' the New Distress Inks!

Welcome to the Orange Blog Hop where Fiskateers get an opportunity to share their passion for crafting.  If you have arrived here from the Fiskateers Blog then you are in the right place.  If you have "dropped in" for a spot of inspiration then please do join us on our adventure this weekend.

If you get lost remember to check back with the Fiskateers blog.  They have all the blogs listed.

Your next stop will be Lindy's blog, Veni Vidi Scrappy!

Happy World Card Making Day!  Isn't funny this comes right after my declaration to make one card a week to mail?  LOL

Thursday I made a CD card for my granddaughter.  I used the Orange Blog Hop to take the opportunity to make more cards.  I don't think you will find me making very many traditional cards.  They are beautiful, but when I have to make them I freak out.  Instead I created three tags that will be used as cards for friends this month.

Let the Orange Flow
"Orange" for Fiskateers means the awesome line of crafting products from Fiskars.  I took it both ways:  the color orange and Fiskars tools.

I finally had a chance to use Tim Holtz's new Limited Edition Fall Colors of his Distress Inks.  They are rich and beautiful.  They come in a pack of three:  seedless preserves, ripe persimmon, and gathered twigs.

Tag One
Fiskars Products:
Paper Crimper
Trimmer and Micro-Tip Scissors (my personal favorite)
Scalloped Border Punch
Easy Stamp Press

Tag Two

Fiskars Products:
Trimmer
Mirco-soft Scissors
Stamps
Easy Stamp Press

Tag Three

Fiskars Products

Trimmer
Micro-tip Scissors
Stamps
Leave it to Weaver border punch
Scalloped border punch
Easy Stamp Press
Giveaway
I never thought when I started to scrapbook that I would fall so totally in love with stamping.  I want to share my passion for stamps with you.  Follow D's Paper Studio by Join this Site and becoma a follower or follow by email.  Then leave a comment tell me your favorite "Orange" product.

I'll announce a winner on Monday's blog post chosen via Random.org.  The winner will receive Fiskars Halloween Night clear acrylic stamps.

Have A Crafty Day!

Don't forget to head on over to Veni Vidi Scrappy  for the next stop in the Orange Blog Hop.

  23. Debby,

I know you are a scrapbooker through and through, so making cards was not always in your plans. These are great! You are really going to make someone's day when they get real mail in their mailbox for Halloween!

Thank you so much for this wonderful coordinating this hop for the second year in a row! You were one of the first blogs I started following when I became a Fiskateer. I don't look at blogs as often as I used to, but when I do, your crafty inspiration is still one of the first places I head!

Wow, great tags! I love tags, but I never quite know what to do with them; using them as cards is a cool idea, especially with holiday cards that people tend to display in their homes during the season.

My favorite "orange" product is my Fiskars fingertip swivel detail knife. It's the tool that has made stamping easier and more fun for me - cutting out stamped images with them is so much easier than using those teeny tiny scissors!
