What a marvelous weekend of crafting and resting! I did a lot of "learning" that I'll share with you this week. For now let's get to the good stuff. The winner of the 8 x 10 Easy Canvas Prints canvas is (drum roll please):

Oh wow! this is such a cool giveaway! I have always wanted a custom canvas! Thank you for the opportunity to win!
Congratulations Viji! Send your email address to dspaperstudio@aol.com . I'll pass it on to Easy Canvas Prints. Thanks everyone.
Here is the last layout from CHA (Craft and Hobby Association) this summer. The original photo of the layout was not really good so I had to wait until I received it back from Epiphany Crafts. FYI: Epiphany Crafts has a new blog! It is really great.
The layout is of me and my granddaughter. She makes my heart beat.
The biggest stretch for me is the stickers. I'm not keen on stickers unless I really alter them. The flowers were too irresistible not to add to the layout. I did add Epiphany Crafts flower buttons, but for me that's not really "altered." But the journaling block and title? Good Grief it's not my style. Well, not until now. I love how it all came together.
The heart "flowers" was done with machine sewing the stems and adding Epiphany Crafts hearts. Since I was able to use coordinating paper it fit perfectly with the layout.
I want to call this the perfect storm. All things came together to make one of my favorite layouts.
Have a Crafty Day!
