What a Weekend!

What a Weekend!  Little Honey, her mom, and me went Easter Egg hunting at a local church.  Talk about a blast.  So many 0-3 years starring at at least 1,000 eggs wondering "why?"  LOL  Tab and I made a strategy to make sure LH did not get stampeded.  It was hilarious to watch.  I hope to scrap my photos throughout the week to share.

My weekend was also filled with creating Cards/Tags for each of the grandchild and for my kids and their family.  Let me remind you ... I'm not a card designer.  I can make a mean tag so lately I've been creating tags to giveaway as cards.  It seems to be working so far.

Here are the cards I made for my grand girls:

The embossed backgrounds are from Cuttlebug and Sizzix.  I used Tim Holt's Pumice Stone and Spun Sugar Distressed Ink to create the de-emboss as inspired by Joy Taylor

The images are free for personal use designed by Altered Artifacts

Other products:  Prima Flowers; Queen and Co. pearls; Fiskars Hummingbird, bird, butterfly squeeze punches; Dymo label maker; Odds and Ends Ribbon.

Notice what my two oldest granddaughters got in their Easter basket?  bummer Grandma wants one too.  Of the three let me know your favorite.  It is always amazing to see what style people gravitate towards!

D's Paper Studio April Challenge and Giveaway
I had fun working with my Slice die cutting machine this weekend.  I had to quickly monogram my LH's eggs so I reached over and cut 5 letters and away we went.  I'm working toward learning more about my Making Memories Slice die cutting machine.  Have you chosen one thing you want to learn more about in your craft?  Check out this POST to read about April's challenge and generous giveaway by Making Memories.
