10 Things On The Tenth/Crafty Storage/Organizing Ideas

I have been wanting to participate in Shimelle's 10 Things.  The idea is to post ten things of your own choosing on the 10th of the month.  It is a crazy idea that I've been wanting to try.

Connie inspired me by her craft storage post yesterday so I would like to share with you 10 of my "off kilter" storage/organizing items I have in my craft studio.

I love Hobby Lobby!  I can often find a replica of something from my past at 50% or more off.  This faux library card holder houses a lot of my Tim Holtz findings.   I need two more to get the rest of my Tim findings organized.

I love these apothecary jars from Michael's Arts and Crafts for my flowers.

Dollar Store find from my non-Tim die cuts.  I have my Tim die cuts on another shelf.

Another Hobby Lobby find that I have my paint brushes, hot glue sticks, some Imagince tools, markers, and other odds and ends.  They are things I use mainly on this one dedicated table.

I think I found this box at AC Moores.  I altered it for Valentines one year and now it houses most, not all, my Clear Scraps mists and paints.

My daughter-in-law gave this to me.  I'm always looking for units that will help me build upwards.  I think it is some sort of filing equipment.

Dollar Store buckets.  They have my misters, scrapper, tweezers, brayer, and a few other odds and ends.  Again they are at that one dedicated table that I main use for altered art mediums.

I made this.  It is a steel strip that I purchased at Lowe's.  I used a combination of different alcohol inks to give it a rusty, worn look.  I picked up the magnetic contains at Micheal's and a few from IKEA.
The hanger I purchased at Hobby Lobby.  It is wrought iron.  The hooks are from IKEA.  I use this area to hang my 12 Tags of Christmas from Tim Holtz.  This a great idea wall.  If I want to make a different look or remember how to do a technique it's right here.
I saved my funniest one for last.  The bags actually sit under my main work table.  The rail system is from Lisa and Becky's orgainizing system from years ago that I found at Hobby Lobby on clearance.  The clear, zip top bags are from some curtains I purchased.  They came with the little hangers are ready bult in.  It's cool to have what ever I'm working on at the moment literally right by my side.

So that's my 10!

Don't forget to check out D's Paper Studio challenge and giveaway.  The X-ACTO giveaway ends soon.  But check out X-ACTO and ArtBin's giveaway right here on D's Paper Studio ... on .... this ...POST (link removed...giveaway over).

I can't wait to see everyone's 10 so I can get some ideas for next month's 10.

Have a Crafty Day!
