Project: Scrap the Refrigerator!

July is slipping away and I haven't even started on my December Daily foundation.  I loved doing this last year with Ali Edwards but I decided at the last minute to participate which put me rushed to finish the core book before December 1st came around.  My best advice for those considering participation in this project and completing it before the beginning of the new year is to do as much of your book ahead of time as you can. You can read more about it here on D's Paper Studio when Ali Edwards was a guest this past December.

I am doing a another "house cleaning" project which is totally scrappy fun.  My refridgerator, like millions of others around the world, is my magnetic board for all things.  It is time for me to clear off some of my photos and cards that I've had up for awhile.  So I decided to scrapbook them.

This is a photo strip of me and Little Honey taken last December at Monkey Joe's  (an inflatable playhouse of sorts.)  We were goofing around.  Little with little snowmen ears and Mimi with a Santa hat.

Ingredients:  Heidi Grace paper collection; Tim Holtz Sizzix Alteration, grungeboard, paper tape, film strip ribbon, Distress Ink Vintage Photo; Jenni Bowlin/Fiskars punch Grandma's Doily; Giltz Design sticker; Sizzix embossing folder, kraft paper, button and ribbon; Fancy Pants sticker Letters

This Heidi Grace collection is several years old.  Which reminds me that the Craft and Hobby Association trade show was this week.  I have been so busy with family that I haven't kept up with all the new-ness that is coming at us.  What did you see that is on your "must have" list?  Please help me out and point me in the right direction.  I have a lot of catching up to do this weekend.

Have a Crafty Weekend!

  6. Super cute page. I love some of the new Echo Park papers but I am really trying NOT to get caught up in all the newness because I only have a small closet in my scrapbook room for storage and it is filling up way to quickly. Just need to use what I have!!!
