I Love Being Inspired!

Truly, I do.  When it comes to photos of my mom, grandmother, or mother-in-law I always think of a harder time of life, but a better time.  If I say vintage I might get myself in deep trouble.  LOL  But when I think of them I think of their talent and gift of handmade quilts and more.  As part of Little Honey's summer book I wanted to include her visit see her grandparents, but with that handmade look.

I saw a layout by Kate Moreira Vickers that reminded me of some quilts my family has made.  I took my inspiration from her and created this layout for LH's summer book.

Ingredients:  paper I believe is Prima; crochet flowers Prima; gems Bo Bunny; Trinket Pin Maya Road; "Love" metal piece Making Memories; center large flower Anna Griffin; "my" American Crafts Thickers; small title Tim Holtz letters, Tim Holtz ticket; Rangers Picket Fence Paint Dabber; "3" Glitz Design

Note to Manufactures:  I would love a hard metal or plastic template with different size quilting shapes.  I use to think having a punch would be good, but they are just too small.  Just a free thought!

I have a few more pages to share with LH's summer book, but I'm taking a scrapbook break to make a banner for my soon-to-be granddaughter's new room.  LH will be a BIG sister in just about a month or so.  You know I'll share it was soon as I finish.

Have a Crafty Day!
