Baby Banner

I created this cute baby banner for my soon-to-come grand baby's room.   I won't tell you how many ideas I had...a dozen...or how much fabric I bought that I did not use ... yards...or even how much special products I bought that I either messed up or just didn't use ... break the bank amount.  I ended up using my scrapbook stash for this incredible banner.

 Ingredients:  My Minds Eye alphabet soup, girl

More Ingredients:  Tim Holtz ideaology Facets, Distress Ink spun sugar, and Baubles; Wilton doilies; Sizzix Snowflake #4 die and embossing folder; Fiskars Leave It to Weaver border punch; Cosmo Cricket Glubers;  Maya Road trinket pins;

Cards are part of the alphabet soup line from My Mind's Eye.

The letters are from a font that I enlarged.  After cutting them out I sewed it to another sheet of paper then cut around the letter to make a shadow.

Each flower is different.  I used Cosmo Cricket's glubers for a base and a wide ribbon.  My favorite flower is where I machine sewed a basing stitch around the edge and gathered it together then wrapped it around to make the flower.

Have you ever just wanted to frame your scrapbooking paper?  Tabitha did.  She loved this line so much she took their signature paper and framed it as part of the decor.

I'm adding this photo for my mom.  My soon-to-be-here granddaughter is to be name for my mother.  Mom made these two quilt squares a long time ago and I saved them when she did not use them.  My daughter found a great use for them in the new room.

We are all busy beavers around here but not without keeping up with the craftiness.  When I'm late on my posts it's because I'm doing what I do best...Making Memories!

Have a Crafty Weekend!
