First Halloween

This was little two month old Ali's first Halloween.  There were no treats for her, but she is defiantly a treat to her Papa and Mimi.
Ingredients:  Graphic 45's Happy Hauntings Halloween paper collection; Queen and Co. rhinestones; Prima flower; Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink; Fiskars micro-tip scissors; X-ACTO Z-Series craft knife

I love the "diamond" shaped border I made.  I saw something similar and just could not resist using the design.  It's a square with two corners rounded with a rhinestone between each square.

Another view of the diamond border and the scissors/craft knife work.  I totally love cutting out tiny details of Graphic 45's paper.

I think the hardest thing I've cut so far has been the gates.  This element/design would be great if Graphic 45 made this a chipboard element.

More detail work.  Most of the paper I used in this layout were pieces left over from other projects.  Event he background paper had to be piece together...although you can't see it.

I hope everyone had a happy Halloween and I would love to see any Thanksgiving projects you might be up to.  Just leave a link in the comments and I'll be glad to check it out.

Notice!
I'm making a few holiday changes to the blog in anticipation of the 12 Days of Home for the Holidays.  I have to tell you that the guests for this year's blog event is incredible.  This year I have several sponsors that have generously provided huge giveaways for the event.  I'll be sharing more about that later.

If you would like to get into the giveaway early all you have to do is add my 12 Days of Home for the Holidays badge and link to your blog.  When you do, leave me a comment with a link to your blog, and I'll put your name in the drawing and you will still have more opportunities to place your name in the drawing once the event begins.  I will be revealing the giveaway sometime in the middle of the month.  You don't want to miss the event nor the giveaway!

Have a Crafty Day!
