A Family Comes Together for Little, a Layout

During Em's hospital stay my sweet, energy bound granddaughter, Little, had her 2nd birthday.  Her party was scheduled, invitations sent, cake ordered, and Em was in PICU.  We opted to cancel and reschedule at the last minute.  Everything turned out beautiful.  BUT ...Little's actual birthday was that Saturday.  I did not want to go without some sort of celebration for her.

I ordered special cupcakes.  Jim brought the sandbox.  We worked it out so Omi, Gramps, Daddy, Meme (me!), and Papa was there.  Mommy join via Facetime.  Literally we carried the iPad and iPhone around for almost the whole celebration.

On my way to the hospital and Gramps and Dad just coming from the hospital, Little was just waking up from her afternoon nap.  We ambushed her coming down the stairs with a birthday surprise.

A quick word with mom.
Out the door to receive her sandbox (story later).
Back in for Minnie Mouse cupcake.
Massive number 2 balloon play.
Lotsa love and off Meme went to the hospital, Gramps to take care of the poor pup that needed a long walk, Daddy to rest, and Papa and Omi played in the sandbox for a long time with Little.

You will probably see several layout over the month of Little at her "actual" birthday.

Please note that this was an ambush so Little's hair was not "fixed" up from her nap!  LOL

Ingredients:  Bo Bunny Ambrosia collection; Prima flower and crochet pieces; Karen Foster butterfly/flower brads; Maya Road Trinket Pin; Tim Holtz Idea-ology wooden number and brads; Sizzix/Tim Holtz Alteration hinge; American Crafts Thickers; Epiphany Crafts epoxy scalloped piece; Queen & Co. pearls; inspired by Irene Tan.

Personal:  I was back at Urgent Care yesterday for this ear situation.  The word is with the shot and another round of medication I should feel better even tonight.  Okay, we'll see.  Em and Little have colds.  For Em it is a bit more worrisome.  Please remember them both in your prayers.

Have a Crafty Day!

Please know, I was touched, but hated seeing your poor baby in that hospital bed! Little continues to be adorable! Thanks for sharing! I will pray!
