My Dad and Graphic 45

I have seen and used many different paper collections for men, but I have never used a more dynamic paper collection than Graphic 45's A Proper Gentleman

I had a lot of fun creating this layout of me and my Dad...well in this photo it was probably Dada.  The memories of my dad are heart warming.  A flood of memories came back was I reminiscing while making this layout.  Sometimes we forget the little things, but while creating this layout I had a flash of my daddy's small, goofy smile he had when he being funny or trying to get one over on us kids.  What a fun memory.

This layout is of Daddy and me when we lived in Texas.

Let's Break it Down
Graphic 45 A Proper Gentleman's paper collection
Graphic 45 vintage buttons
K&Co. title
Tim Hotz's Idea-ology Verbiages
Blue Fern chipboard

Lots of detail cutting and reminding myself to keep it simple.  (Love you, Daddy!)

Easy Canvas Prints Winner
The winner of the Easy Canvas Prints is Kathy Kruszewski.  Congratulations.  Thanks to everyone who participated.

Facebook
D's Paper Studio now has a page on Facebook.  It's called D's Paper Studio.  How original am I?  By Tuesday or Wednesday I am looking to have 200 followers.  Once we hint 500 there will be a great giveaway.  There will be/is scrapbooking and crafting news, tips and tutorials, and all around fun.

Point it Out
Although it has been on my blog tabs for awhile I've never "pointed it out."  My portfolio is now on a site called Carbonmade.  It is a cool way to display your work and give your resume.  You can see it at D's Paper Studio with Debby Lewis.  The first page is a breakdown of the type of scrapbooking and more that I have created.  On the top right side, in the corner, there are two buttons, one is Work and one is About.  The About section is my resume.  I would love for you to check it out and give me some feedback.  Thanks for everyone's support.

Have a Crafty Day!
