A First Fouth of July

It was my granddaughter Alison's first 4th of July this year.  This little red head is a fashion diva.  Throughout the day she changed into about 3 or 4 outfits that were given her for this occasion.  She was true blue all day.

FYI:  I love her little hat.

Isn't it fun when you clean out your scrap space you find so many things you had intended you use but never did.  My Kasiercraft and Rusty Pickle are two of my favs.  Although Rusty Pickle is no longer in business you can still buy their products online.

This is my favorite element.  My mom crochets pieces for me often and I love using them on my layouts of the grandchildren as part of there keepsakes.  I added this particular piece because when I saw it against the layout it reminded me of Betsy Ross and her part of American History.

I'm back from my second trip to Florida this summer.  It was fun to introduce Alison to both her Great-Grandmothers.  I'm sure I am going to get several layouts out that event.

Can you believe it is the last day of the month?

Have a Crafty Day!
