After and Before

I have shared several photos in the past of my Aunt and Uncle.  When I was young ... somewhere around 2 years old...I lived with my mother's brother and his wife.  My Aunt Texie Mae and Uncle Max.

I visited my Aunt and Uncle when I was in Florida.  They asked me if I remember anything about that time.  That was more than 50 years ago and I can't remember why I walked from one room to the next at times!

Somehow I remember.  The couch and it's position in the room, where the door was, the bedroom where I slept, the train that ran at night right outside my bedroom, and Siamese cats.  I remember how much I loved them from that day forward.

I haven't had my photo taken with Uncle Max and Aunt Texie Mae in forever so I thought this time I would ask.  I'm glad I did.

Uncle Max was my dad's best friend since the 1950's.  Now that Dad is gone Uncle Max has become my second Dad.

  4. I love the story about your aunt & uncle - the layout is wonderful. It its fun that you are able to duplicate the look of the old pictures by adding the white border. Just a few years ago, that would not have been so easy.

I have been voting when I see your reminders. Good luck! You are way ahead in your category and by a few points overall =)
