Back To School

Look closely.  I didn't post the same layout twice although it seems like I did.  I created Little's and her sister's back to school layouts almost identical.  At first you would think that was easier.  Nope, not at all.

Little's First Day Back In School
This is Little's second year in school.  This is not a daycare, but a school.  Full curriculum that is created for the age group.  Classes are not large but just right to fit the age.  It is a wonderful school and so happy Little and her sister are able to attend.

Little loves her class because all her friends from last year moved up with her in her class.  She calls one of the little girls "her Joye."  Sweet, loving girl.
Little's Sister's First Day of School
We were not sure how LS would do in school.  She has the best teacher and has adjusted well in just a week and a half.  I walked past her room yesterday and sneaked a peek.  There she was, this 9 month old, sitting in her own chair at the table (not a high chair...small chairs and table) eating her snack.  My heart went "awwwww."  I was happy my sweet grandgirl was learning so fast.
Let's Break It Down
Graphic 45 An ABC Primer paper collection; stamps
May Arts Ribbon
Tim Holtz Distress Ink, Vintage photo; Fragments; Tiny Fastener; long brads; alphabet
WeRMemory Keepers twine
Maya Road flowers
Making Memories tiny alpha
American Crafts pop dots
Fiskars Micro Tip Scissors
Crayons

When I get bold enough, I going to let the girls "write" their name on the layout.  I'm not brave yet.  LOL

Hard But Not
When I cut pieces for the first layout I would go ahead and cut for the second layout.  That's fine in an ideal world.  When I create a layout everything is everywhere.  I had to dig for the pieces, that I put in one spot, and still could not find them all.  Then to get them placed nearly the same as the first layout...geez, you would think that was easy.  I had to remind myself over and over again how the layers went down and how to reproduce the same layering.  I didn't have to start from scratch, but it created it's own challenges.

Question of the Day
How many differences can you find between the two layouts?  It's like a Sunday paper puzzle.  LOL

Have a Crafty Day!
