Flowers and Butterflies ... Dreaming of Spring!

I was going through my unscrapped photos and ran across this one of Little.  I began wishing for warmer weather so we could go out and play more.  The girls love outside and one of their favorite activities is to chalk on the driveway.

Some Notables
  • The layout is from Pink Paislee.  The reason this caught my eye was the circles.  They used chipboard.  I used a tissue roll and paint.
  • Now don't hate me for how I made the dark brown design on top and bottom.  I went through my stencils and found several I never use that were in a packet with other stencils that are my favorites.  I cut this stencil in half, painted it and adhered it to the page.  I really like it.  The stencil is from Tattered Angels.
  • My Prima flowers are older, but they work very well and cleared up some of the flowers to make room for more!  The wooden buttons are also from Prima.
  • Let's not leave out Blue Fern Studios with the butterflies and title.

I really had fun with this layout.

As always ....

Have a Crafty Weekend!
