Little's Ballet with Blue Fern Studio's New Paper Line

Blue Fern Studios newest paper is beautiful.  It's uniqueness is that it is a bit thicker than my normal paper stash.  This helps me to be able to do more mixed media without the paper bucking and bowing.  I have a new, tied for 1st with Graphic 45, paper obsession.

Little's Ballet Class
Notables
Paper, title, roses, trinkets:  Blue Fern Studios
Flowers, buttons, crystals, tag from packaging, ballet slippers:  Prima
Doilies:  Martha Stewart tags
Geletos Faber-Castell
Rub-on:  Tim Holtz
Based on the sketch is from Blue Fern Studios February Challenge

I watched several videos on how to use geletos on chipboard.  This is a fun technique and gives the chipboard a unique look.  I would highly recommend giving it a try.
I used the pieces I popped out of the chipboard ... the tiny flowers and the swirl under the photo.  It added a nice touch and I did not waste anything.

The doilies are actually from Martha Stewart's tag line.  They are small, details, but thicker and easier to use.

The "dangles" are not dangles at all.  I put together two pieces of Blue Fern Studios Jeweled Trinkets.  All the chipboard is colored with geletos.
The paper ribbon is actually cut from the manufacture strip from the bottom of the page.  It was great not to have to cut large pieces for a small element.

On a Personal Note
Life continues to be busy and my other obsession, my flower beds, took most my day Saturday.  It was a beautiful day to start cleaning up Fall and Winter and get ready for Spring.

I am back in full swing on the blog so I hope to see you back on Wednesday!

Have a Crafty Day!
