Old Products Meets New Products = A Lot of Fun

It is wonderful when I get to rummage through my older products and add them to the latest and greatest products.  Like many scrapbookers I have a lot of older products I just haven't used yet because new products just keep coming out.  LOL  They were and are great products.  I am trying to marry the older products to  the newer ones...just because I love them both.

Key to my Heart (my granddaughter Ali)

Old
  • The Technique Tuesday Tile is the oldest element on the page.  It was a bit off white so I painted it with Gesso.
  • The Tim Holtz key and pearls, Prima small resin flowers and button, Kaisercraft pearls are not as old as the tile but still several years old.

Half Way In-between
My Basic Grey wooden buttons and Prima Flowers are not "old" but just in-between new and old.

New
My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Record It!, Blue Fern Studios chipboard title and key with lock, Martha Stewart crochet ribbon are all a part of the newer lines.

This is a balanced use of the old and new products while still allowing the new products to shine next to the sweet little face in the photo.

Do you mix it up?

Have a Crafty Day!
