Transforming Stickers

I am so not a sticker scrapbooker.  I don't know why, just not my cup of tea...until recently.

I'm going through my older stash and found a sheet of scalloped circle stickers by Creative Imaginations.  Old ....  I didn't care for the printed design for what I was doing but I did like the scalloped circle.  I feel like Dr. Suess ... she thought, thought, thought.  LOL

On the first layout I decided to paint the front of the sticker with Gesso.  It worked great.  No runs and I don't worry about it coming off the shiny finish.  I looks like the edge of a giant doily.

My second layout is a holiday themed.  This time I turned to the sticky side of the scalloped circle and added Tim Holtz Distress Glitter.  I sprinkled it on, patted it down a bit, and tapped off any excess.  It turned out brilliantly.
