Some of my favorite obsessions right now are directed at my Scrapbooking. To name a few:
Matter-of-fact there are several more with other parts of scrapbooking ... tools(like Fiskars and X-ACTO), glues (like Glue Dots, Glue Art, Aleenes) etc., etc., etc. Oh my, as I'm writing this I realize I have many more obsessions connected with my craft. So I'll stop here.
I used several of these items in my layout today.

Quick Story
I took this photo one day when I was watching LS (Little's Sister). She was sick and having a bit of a rough time. She finally fell asleep. When I checked on her she was curled up holding her "baby" and had her little fingers in her mouth. This is outside her norm for sleeping. My heart was melted with my little grandgirl.

My Obsessions I Used
- Blue Fern Studios Paper and Chipboard. The lattice was cut from one of their awesome papers. The chipboard is the brick underneath the photo and the pieces I popped out are placed on the upper right side covered with Tim's Distress Embossing Powder. Also the ornament on the lower left side is covered with Gesso and Tim's Distress Crackle paint then Distress Ink. The butterflies are colored with Geletos from Faber-Castell. I added a sprinkle of Tim's Distress Glitter to the pink butterfly.
- Prima Flowers and Pearls/Crystals. The white and darker yellow flower are Prima's and the pink/yellow ones are from Jolees.
- Fiskars and X-ACTO craft knife, scissors and trimmer
- Glue Art Tape Runner and Rangers' Glossy Accents glue

Another beautiful layout! I do not have any Blue fern but you are making me want to go get some!
ReplyDeleteMy current obsessions... hmmm... I'm only thinking so hard because there are too much to narrow down. Maybe frames and flair. Love it!
ReplyDeleteLove how you did the bricks, popping out and embossing~I thought it was molding paste. Awesome look here. My current obession is stamp carving ~all I want to do. I think it is good we chnage it up sometimes, at least for me:)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous layout - I love the softness of it. It all fits so perfectly with the gentleness of the photo.
ReplyDeleteOh my, what a SWEET photo! Just love what you did with the sketch, and love seeing your favorite list. :) Thanks for joining us in the March Blue Fern Studios Sketch Challenge. Blessings,
