Halloween Week ... Is There a Mouse In The House?

My next to the youngest grandgirl dressed as her favorite character for Boo At The Zoo...Minnie Mouse!  Creating this layout was a challenge.  I have no Mickey Mouse or related materials.  I am determined to use as much of my past Halloween supplies as I can.

This is Graphic 45's Magic of Oz collection.  Using the second side of the paper allowed me to create the Minnie Mouse layout.

I made the tab's by using Graphic 45's chipboard, turning to the back using another piece of the Magic of Oz paper and made more related tabs.
  • Glue the paper onto the tab.  Let it dry.
  • Cut the edges closely.
  • Use an emery board.(I use Basic Grey's for pieces like this) sanding the edges.
  • Ink the edges and you have it.

Licensed websites have Disney clipart.  This is the site I got mine from:  Disney Clipart Galore.  That is how I was able to make the little Minnie embellishments.

The "heart" paper is actually raised a bit with a piece of felt underneath....like quilt batting.  I sewed my design and you can see the slight puffiness of the paper.  It's a great effect.

Have a Fun and Safe day.  Make Memories!

  2. Another visual delight. Really like how you used the "b" side of the papers. One of the things I love about G45-their papers are always a 2 fer! And I see some really impressive fancy cutting!
