Woot! Whoot! It's Time for December Daily

This is my favorite time of the year.  Scrapbook pages, advent calendars, ornaments, home decor ... I love making it all.  And lets not forget fun Pinterest goodies.

December Daily is a fabulous project created by Ali Edwards.

I opt out of the kits and create my own, but I am grateful for Ali introducing this to me.  You can see a past 12 Days of Home for the Holidays post here ... Ali Edwards (remember this is a past post and giveaway is closed).

My Books

Notables
Paper Studio burlap album, burlap ribbon
Martha Stewart Gesso
Tim Holtz Fragments, Rub-on numbers, Monocle, Distress Stain, Evergreen and Twig distress inks
Graphic 45 Christmas Past paper collection
Ranger Dabber paint, gold; Glossey Accents
Alieene's Tacky Glue
Michael's Create It! wooden tree

My husband was surprised that he had purchased a burlap album with the words "Christmas Memories" in red and then I showed him what I did with it.  LOL  It doesn't look like the same book.

1. I painted the outer cover of the book with gesso.  Takes some patience as it absorbs into the burlap.
2. Using Glossy Accents glue the fragment to the paper.  Give it about 5 minutes or less then work around the edges to peel some of the paper away.  I had great success with this.
Book 2
It always takes me two books to get all 25 days.
12 Days of Home for the Holidays
I did not host 12 Days of Home for the Holidays this year ....
because...
I have been super busy this year...
I do this by myself and it had become a huge event ...
I am unsure of of next year, but with some help (if anyone wants to volunteer contact me) .... I would love to pick this back up next year...
I will be adding links to my posts for the next 12 days from the archives for you to visit or just click on the link in the header and you will have a lot to choose from.

Have a Crafty Day!
