Although my Tag-spiration is from my December Daily, can you see it becoming a wonderful set of Spring/Easter tags? I am making my family Easter goodies. I certainly want to include a bright Spring handmade tag.
How would you take these December Tags and Translate them into Tag-spiration for Spring/Easter?
Translate: Splash color everywhere! Tone on tone. What about yellows... background, flowers, stamping and a one word thought?
Translate: vintage classic Spring/Easter. Use Tim Holtz Sizzix Honeycomb Frameworks Die with beautiful Easter/Spring pattern paper to create a vintage tag. Of course my go-to is Graphic 45 (Nature Sketchbook) with their wonderful Spring lines, but I love Bo Bunny's Faith Collection as well.
Translation: Metallic embossing with gems and pearls are wonderful for spring. I love tucking them in and about flowers.
Translation: Ink or paint your tag, emboss with spring flowers. Finish it by carefully wiping Ranger's Paint Dabber Picket Fence lightly over the raised image. Go crazy and use pinks, yellows, blue as well. Spring is all about the color.
Translation: Add dimensional paste. Once dry paint it in a brilliant array of Spring/Easter colors.
How do you look at different "inspiration" throughout the year? I always look at technique, colors, design ... the content can be any season for which I'm creating.
