Jack and Jill ... Little of This and That

Echo Park's Jack and Jill boy collection has been one of my favorites.  Generally,  I pick out paper I like and maybe a few matching pieces, but this time I chose to get their kit.  I discovered paper I probably would not have picked out individually absolutely fabulous.

Side Note:  Echo Park's Jack and Jill boy's collection kit is harder to find now, but I did find a few kits available on ebay.  There are some good scrapbook ebay stores out there.  You can find the complete Jack and Jill girl's kit at Amazon and Scrapbook.com.

Simply Amazing
My grandson, Little's brother, is simply amazing!

I mixed Echo Park's Jack and Jill with a myriad of products I had tucked away.  I know ALL D's Paper Studio readers have older paper stashed away.  My recommendation:  pull it out and use it.  Mix it with older products, add new products and techniques.

Layering never gets old.  I added Blue Fern Studio's stars inked with Tim Holtz Distress Ink as well as his idea-ology stars.  I can't get enough Magic Mesh.  If you do an online search for Magic Mesh remember to add the word "scrapbook."  Amazon carries different colors and textures.

The canvas star and chalkboard tag were purchased at Michael's.

The filmstrip is from Bo Bunny and the large arrow in the very back is from Little Yellow Bicycle.

Most of these products are from my older stash BUT now I have room for the Bo Bunny's Faith Collection (you'll see Wednesday) and Julie Nutting's French Flea Market by Photo Play Paper.  I am playing with Color Burst by Ken Oliver and with my Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks.  Connie Mercer has inspired me to try Dylusions Ink Spray.

Here is hoping there are enough hours and minutes in a day for me to play with all these products.
