Tag-spiration! Gifts For Your Family

Tags with vintage photos as gifts.  I love this idea that Karenladd commented about on the last post: make tags for her family using old photos.  What a wonderful idea!  Thank you Karenladd.

Connie Mercer of Crafty Goodies blog asked to see the tag in my album.   This is the first day of December.

My granddaughter played a mouse in The Nutcracker for Columbia Classical Ballet at the Koger Center.  They were given the option to "roll over" aka tumble, onstage.  She was the only mouse that tumbled for each of the 6 performances.  There was a lot of pride throughout the family for this 4 year old.

My December Daily albums consisted of an 8 x 8 page, one tag for each day and 6 x 8 pocket page.

I enjoy using Dymo Label tape.  I use Tim Holtz Label Letters that simulate the same look...but the original is better.  The Dymo Label Makers are getting harder to find. 

Years and Years ago...when I was in Seminary I took a series of classes on how to creatively use an overhead projector (I did say years ago, right?  LOL).  I had a packet of Christmas songs on overhead transparencies that I've kept.  I decided to use one on a tag. Easy to do:  Ranger's Glossy Accents, glued the transparency to the tag and trimmed the transparency. 

 I pulled out the sewing machine to create my snowman and boarder. 

Who says Santa has to deliver presents on a sleigh?  This is my husband as a young boy. 

I ended the month the same as I started it...with a photo of me and my husband.  We are truly blessed.
