Christmas Tag 2...Julie Nutting Doll Stamp

I am having a marvelous time learning all types of styles, mediums, and techniques.  I continue to work on my Christmas "Cards" aka tags.  I am committed to using Julie Nutting Doll Stamps, as daddy always said: "just because."  Christmas and paper dolls bring back holiday memories for me.  Also, my artistic granddaughter loves them.

I used the same doll and clothing pattern choice as the first Christmas Doll Tag.  When I make the tags I want to make two at a time that is the same.  With my Tim Holtz Stamp Platform, it is easy.

A theme of Peace seems perfect in our uncertain world right now.  The square "Peace" is from Graphic 45, "Peace" shaker is an old piece from K&Co, not sure where the dove is from.

The snowflake in the background was made using a negative from a Technique Tuesday chipboard snowflake.  I added modeling paste and when dry wiped Broken China Distress Oxide over the top.
The shimmering background was made with spray adhesive and Distress Glitter Broken Glass.

I am having fun creating the dolls, knowing I will have a few cute Christmas Cards this year, and using up my tiny pieces.

  1. Beautiful tag!!! The girl is sweet and I love that flower with the bling. It'll be great hanging from a tree.
