tea? Anyone ... Graphic 45 Hallowe’en in Wonderland

Is it too early for Halloween?  Is it too late to share dance recital layouts?  This might be a perfect meet in the middle page.

After watching my granddaughter in the most incredible dance recital, Alice in Wonderland, a light came on as I remembered I have some of the Graphic 45's Hallowe'en in Wonderland collection in my Halloween boxes.

As it often is, it was bits and pieces.  Before my interest in mixed media I would have been dishearten.  Now that I play with mixed media it is easier to create fun pages with those same pieces.

tea?  Anyone

Noteables
Graphic 45 Hallowe'en in Wonderland
Bazzil cardstock
Finnabair Art Basic / Prima Gesso Clear
Tim Holtz Woodgrain and Clockwork stencil,  clock face and hands idea-ology, chitchat, Tiny Attacher, Distress Oxide Wilted Violet and Peeled Paint, Distress Ink Vintage Photo, Key
Prima flowers and pearls
Petaloo flowers
Brea Reese texture sand
Bo Bunny chipboard clock
TCW stencil...words
Stampin' Up! Geometric stamp
Fussy cut and tuck Alice, the Mad Hatter and cards behind the flower.  The clockwork image is modeling paste mixed with Distress Oxide Wilted Violet.
Woodgrain stencil with modeling paste, Distress Oxide Peeled Paint.  The photo shows the woodgrain yellow, but it is green on the original page.  Probably a lighting thing.  Of course there had to be the whole idea of "time" included.
More fussy cut, layering of ephemeral.  I like that ole' sneaky Cheshire cat.
The white stamped image is a Stampin' Up! stamp I purchased new at a yard sale for .50.  I used Ranger's Snow Cap Pigment Ink to stamp the image.  My Dymo label maker created my journaling, outlining it with my Ranger Opaque White Pen.
"tea?" is chipboard painted with gesso and white acrylic paint.  "Anyone" I printed the letters on green cardstock and used an old, almost vintage,  hole punch to create round lettering.

The purple "background" to "tea?" is texture sand that I colored purple by patting Tim Holtz Distress Oxide onto the craft mat, spritzing it with water and poured out the sand into the mixture.  Stirred it around and heat dried the mixture.  I broke it up and sprinkled it on the glue I added around the word. I did see something similar to this where beads were used to surround individual letters..I figured let's do it to the whole word but with texture sand.

Creating this layout was a wonderful time remembering a great recital.

I've been away visiting my mom and dad-in-law.  They are coming up on their 67th Wedding Anniversary.  You know what layout I'm doing next.  They are incredible people.  I love them both.

So?  Tea anyone?
