Only a few more days of 2017 and a few more tags. I used a solid white glitter cardstock for the base of this tag and love the Christmas/Wintry effect.
Tag #6
Notables
Julie Nutting's doll stamp
Graphic 45 paper.. bits and pieces I hoarded...LOL
Michael's Arts and Crafts...Glitter cardstock...Michael's Arts and Crafts
Tim Holtz...Flashcards, Fire Brick distress ink, Broken China Oxide ink, chit-chat words, snowflakes Thinlet dies, deer, gumdrops
Prima flowers
Aleen's Glitter Snow
Elizabeth Craft Designs Peel off
Copic Alcohol Inks
I made the doll first, before designing the tag, so I went back and replaced the vest and headband with the glitter cardstock.
I covered the chit-chat words with Rock Candy Stickles and outlined the edges with Fire Brick distress ink. I wish I would have used Broken China.
The outline of this piece is the Elizabeth Craft Design Peel Off. I adhered it to the glitter cardstock and use the Copic pens to color it. I topped off the branches with Aleen's Glitter Snow. This was a first for me.
A little Winter Magic with Alleen's Glitter Snow, Prima's flowers, and Tim's Gumdrops and most of all his deer. I totally love the deer. They were all over my house in my two house displays, on my printer's tray, in a snowglobe my granddaughter and I made. I purchased two packs and would easily love a few more.
I am back working on my December Daily 2017 as I begin to feel better from all the sickness these past 2 months. I can't wait to share my husband's crafty contribution to our Christmas season soon.
Do you have "One Little Word" that will help encourage, set goals, and guide by? I am debating which WORD I want. Check it out on Ali Edwards' blog for more information and to join in on the happenings around this project.
