Can you believe Valentines is right around the corner? I'm still working on Christmas! I need to make three Valentine's cards, one for each of my grandchildren.
I'm not sure if it was last year or the year before I purchased a card kit by K & Co. I liked their card design but I purchased it for the little paper doll. She is such a cutie. I used the doll in my own design from my older stash.
I don't remember half the manufactures from my scraps. I see My Mind's Eye, Fancy Pants (newer), American Crafts ribbon, and a bit of Tim Holt's paper tape. "You're sweet" is a piece left over from Making Memories I believe. The fence is from Basic Grey (very old) that I stained with Tim's Distress Stains Picket Fence.
You can't see it very well in the photo but the heart has a piece of clear plastic packaging on top. I save just about everything. I cut out the heart then ran both the paper and plastic through an embossing folder. The affect in person is really cool.
This is my Hannah's card.
Don't forget about the challenge and giveaway is the post prior to this one. Deadline is the February 29. A couple of questions came up and here are the answers.
1. You can use any sketch you would like, but do use a sketch.
2. You can only enter one layout for the giveaway.
Thanks for those participating and Good Luck!
Have a Crafty Day!
